The boat was in bad shape when I bought it and like you have pretty much replaced most of the systems including the engine (4-108 currently). I have only experienced deck problems directly under the mast step. Since the support and compression strut were still in good shape we stepped the mast and replaced the rotten vertical grain balsa in a 2 X 3 foot space under the mast step. That was 15 years ago and so far so good.
